All about the Noni Project...

Noni’s Happy Ending is a feature film project and social networking adventure which invites the audience to help Noni find a happy ending. Noni is a real person and the experiences shared are her own true life encounters. The past 18 months have been very eventful for Noni and she has decided to share her story. Having been a film, TV and event producer for many years, she decided to travel to the Middle East to start a production company there.  She got more than she bargained for!  When Noni told her friends of her recent adventures they suggested she make a movie about her own life instead of one about somebody else.  The problem is that Noni believes in happy endings and so far she hasn't found hers. This is where we need your help.

Scene by scene, the beginning of her story will be released online. Based on the current situation for Noni, fans can debate plot points, suggest activities or places for Noni to go and participate by contributing to the production of the film and site content. Let's face it; she hasn't had much luck on her own so far... so what can it hurt to get a little advice from the public.

Each week a new 2-5 minute “Live web cast” will update you on where Noni is, what she's been up to and where she plans on going next. She will introduce new contests or invite viewers to create and upload specific content. This is a shared collaborative process and Noni needs all kinds of help. Writers, musicians, artists, designers, web gurus... This is your chance to be part of a real-time online process to create a film over the internet. We can write the story, cast the characters, and decide the locations... all over the internet. A special fan portal will have a chat/forum area, polls and surveys, games, travel tips, carbon foot print zone, resource center for artists and filmmakers… etc, etc, etc.

Designers can enter a competition to "dress" Noni and contribute to her exclusive "Go Noni" active/leisure wear line. Musicians can submit songs for her theme and content for the feature film score.

Games and puzzles will unlock story plot points and surveys will decide what stays and goes. Visitors to the site will be able to transfer air miles to Noni, put her up at a nice hotel or Uncle Benny’s, or arrange a special excursion/adventure for her. (All with the intent to assist her in finding that ever elusive Happy Ending)

Why do people all around the world love Noni? She lives an incredibly eventful life. Reality: her personal experiences have ranged from a smuggling herself across the Canadian/US border, a heart wrenching vigil at her son’s deathbed, international travel and cultural mishaps and a ridiculously insane affair with a suspected terrorist. Some say Noni is a GILF. One thing for certain, there will be NO shortage of material for the script.
